1Non-porous versus porous, and why it matters
A non-porous material has no microscopic openings for fluid or bacteria to sit in, so it can be cleaned completely. Silicone, stainless steel and ABS are non-porous. Jelly, PVC and rubber are porous: they can be washed, but never fully sterilised, and they degrade faster. This is the single most useful distinction when comparing two toys at different prices.
2What we actually stock, without the marketing
Our silicone, steel and ABS products are non-porous and will last for years with basic care. Most strokers, sleeves and dolls are TPE, which is softer and far more lifelike than silicone but needs thorough rinsing and complete drying after every use. A small number of budget items are jelly, which we treat as short-life products and label as such on the product page. We would rather tell you that than call the whole catalogue medical grade.
3The lubricant rule that ruins toys
Water-based lubricant is the only type safe with everything we sell. Silicone lubricant chemically bonds with silicone toys and permanently damages the surface, and it cannot be undone. Oil-based products degrade latex and TPE and are not condom-compatible. If you remember one thing from this guide, make it this one.
4Reading a product page properly
Every product page states its material, and for anything used anally it states whether the item has a flared base. Those two facts matter more than the mode count or the marketing copy. If either is unclear, message us and ask before ordering.
